Northern Uganda Widows and Orphans Support Organization is committed to transforming the lives of the urban and the rural communities through creating accessibility of education and training to ensure equal opportunity for all people especially vulnerable children and youth.
The capacity building workshop was organized by NUWOSO team leader in collaboration with Civil Society Organization to effectively strengthening the leadership capacity of the selected team leaders in Northern Uganda.
Widows and Orphans Support Organization (WOSO) is a charity non- profit making and non- political organization with head offices in Agago district-Uganda
NUWOSO is legally registered with Agago district local government and legally operating in Agago district. NUWOSO work in collaboration and partnerships with Government, International, National and District organizations, private sectors and other institution/foundations with the similar vision.

WOSO core programme thematic areas:-
Health programme
Economic and livelihoods program
Human rights programme
Education programme
Good governance and accountability programme
Humanitarian preparedness and response programme, all these are done to address the challenging situation faced by the needy members of the communities among others.
Rendering services to HIV/AIDS infected people in line with voluntary counseling and guidance, making referrals for infected clients to the hospitals for medical care and support, NUWOSO community health team normally pay close attention to HIV victims since they are very important to the communities, their relatives and children.
PROJECTS
The projects were introduced to the prisoners to start-up the income generating activities through tailoring and cutting garment i response to pressing needs of the victims who had left their dependents behind.
NUWOSO have come out to bridge the gaps created between the vulnerable communities especially youth in prisons, some of them are innocent that needs to be released, but due to voiceless reasons that can't allow them to talk, they remain in-tack in the prison
CLIENTS
Our Clients are the children, youth and women who are completely vulnerable, they are the most affected by the war which occurred in Northern Uganda for over 25 years, we are yet to pave ways of living for them to become self reliance communities in Uganda.
NUWOSO is currently working hand in hand with Agago District Local Government and Civil Society Organization to ensure a complete change in lives of the communities in Agago District.
